How are the 3B-NEO results reported?

제공

  • Results are reported as either “Detected” or “Undetected” based on the predefined list of analyzed genes.
  • “Detected” indicates that a genetic variant associated with a disease has been identified; however, this does not by itself constitute a definitive diagnosis. Since 3B-NEO is a screening test, any detected variant must be further evaluated through consultation with a healthcare professional, and additional diagnostic testing may be required to determine its clinical significance.
  • In addition to the clinician report, 3B-NEO also provides a separate result report for caregivers. For “Undetected” results, the caregiver report is delivered simultaneously when the healthcare provider reviews the results. In contrast, for “Detected” results, the findings are shared with caregivers only after appropriate clinical explanation and counseling, under the judgment and approval of the healthcare provider.
