What sample types are accepted for 3B-NEO?
- To ensure safe and convenient sample collection, dedicated newborn dried blood spot (DBS) cards are provided free of charge. The standard method for 3B-NEO is to use the provided DBS card; however, depending on the clinical setting, the following sample types may also be accepted.
- If collection using a DBS card is not feasible, the most appropriate sample type can be selected through prior consultation, taking into account the infant’s condition and the hospital’s collection environment. (Whole Blood (EDTA), gDNA)
